As Many of yoiu may have read in the Park News this week, Chris Ritchie and Steve Kearns will be fighting on behalf of Rosslyn Park in the 1st RUGBY FIGHT NIGHT at York Hall on June 3rd all for charity.

Celebration Dinner This Thursday – All Welcome.

This Year for the Players Dinner, we would like to invite everyone along to The Rock for a drink and a bite to eat starting at 7:30pm.

Come along and join the players and celebrate Promotion to National League 1. There is plenty to toast and we would like to extend our thanks to all the supporters who have cheered us on Home and Away this last year.

There will be a BBQ outside, drinks, speeches and awards inside. Dress code is very relaxed.

Please respond to Shaun Justice here to book your space/spaces, the cost will be £15 per head.

There will be 2 awards on the night, player of the season, voted for by the coaches, and players player of the year.

Look forward to celebrating with you on Thursday!

GILL BERRYMAN

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Gill , wife of Peter Berryman on May 7th 2010.
Gill had been ill for some time and dealt with her illness with great courage and fortitude, remaining active and cheerful to the end. Peter and Gill met at Rosslyn Park and have both been members for many years. Peter of course having played for Rosslyn Park as well as serving as Team Secretary and Club Secretary

Peter and family cordially invite those who have known Gill to join them in a celebration of her life, to be held in the Clubhouse at Rosslyn Park on Tuesday 18th May at 1-45 for 2pm.

Play Off This Saturday 15th May Vs Loughbourogh

Please Note:

Rosslyn Park are running a first come first served Bus Service for Saturdays game away at Loughborough. The Buses will depart from the Priory Lane Entrance at 10AM Sharp !!!

Please email facilities@rosslynpark.co.uk if you would like to book a place on the bus.

If we fill one bus load then we run another so spread the word around the club and lets support the lads on this special occasion.

There will be a small fee of £20 to cover the cost of the bus only.

Directions are below for those making their own way.

Loughborough
Leave the M1 at junction 23, heading towards Loughborough; take third
available exit off roundabout on to A512, continue for 1.2 miles then take
first available exit off roundabout on to A512 (ASHBY ROAD). Continue
for 0.5 miles, then take third available right on to local road and immediately
turn left on to MARGARET KEAY ROAD, continue for 0.6 miles to
the University. By public transport: from Loughborough station it
shouldn’t be too expensive a cab to the ground, otherwise there’s a bus
from stand R outside the station on Nottingham Road.
NB You should check these directions yourself in case of disruption.

The London Floodlit Sevens was held at Rosslyn Park on Thursday 6th May 2010.The winners were Dig Deep England who beat Saracens in a thrilling final by 17 points to 5. On their way to the Final the England team beat Esher, Loughborough Students, and in the semi-final they beat Wasps 24-10.

Congratulations to Rosslyn Park 1st XV – The fantastic 57 – 17 result against Canterbury means Park now finish in the coveted Runners Up Spot and will play off on 15th May against the runners up of National 2 North.
