Half Term Rugby

It’s coming to that time of year when your children will be looking forward to their half term break. We, at Park, will be running our highly successful Autumn half term rugby camp. Open to children of all abilities aged between 6 to 12 years old, the camp is run by the 1st XV’s Steve Pape assisted by a number of 1st XV players.
We are taking bookings for this camp now. Places fill-up fast and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so please confirm your children’s interest as soon as possible by sending Steve an email at EMAIL STEVE HERE

Camp Dates
The camp will be held over the two week half term break on 6 days as follows:
18th, 19th and 20th of October 2010
25th, 26th and 27th of October 2010

Camp Timings
10am to 3pm for full day and 10am to 1pm for half days
Running the camp over a two week perion ensure that we can offer rugby for both state and private school pupils in the surrounding areas. The camp will be run by current first team players all of whom are CRB checked and up to date with the Rugby Football Union guidelines.
The cost of the camp will be £25 per day and £17.50 per half day. Fees will be payable on the first day.
Players should bring with them: a pack lunch, a change of clothing in case of bad weather and any protective clothing/equipment they have (eg. gum shields etc.) and also a completed permission slip ( which will be emailed to you with confirmation of your booking).

Result : Rosslyn Park 17-15 Otley
Posted by: Rob Johnston on Saturday, October 9th, 2010From kick off, Otley enjoyed early territory and possession but failed to make a slight advantage tell when Jervis Manupenu missed a penalty from 10 metres inside the Park half. Rosslyn Park countered with a series of pick-and-drives, but when this yielded a penalty they also missed their chance from just outside the visitors’ 22.
