Courses
The Club runs regular First Aid courses which are FREE to all. They are mandatory to coaches, and recommended for all others. A full calendar of course dates as at 20th July is downloadable here.
NELRA Refereeing Courses are held at Park or local clubs. See the Refereeing section of the website for details. Regular Mini/Midi reffing courses may also be held from time to time.
PLEASE NOTE: Bob Fisher is Club Coaching coordinator and can help advise on courses and applications. As a general rule, coaches should aim for RFU Level1. There is now a requirement that you take IRB Goodyear Rugby Ready course as a prep for this. Email Bob on rfisher@hishomeaddress.com
For Level 2, the prep requirement is CPD modules since Level 1 and evidence that you are coaching.
Coaching courses are run by the RFU, and there are 3 regions that may provide convenient locations to coaches, London North, London South and Southern. Details can be found at the RFU website.
