CRB Checks
RPFC has a formal Child Protection Policy in accordance with RFU Guidelines. Please click to access Policy Document.pdf. It is club policy that all Coaches, Managers and First Aiders must be CRB checked.
Check the date on your CRB certificate as they expire after 3 years and need to be redone (the RFU should contact you automatically when it is time to renew- please do not delay as it takes up to 8 weeks to renew once the form is returned).
Team managers will be issued with a stock of forms, so ask them. Please then see Tom Blake, Steve Cooper or Graham Robson with the necessary ID, or attend a CRB check session at the Club, where they will be countersigned.
Follow this link for applicant’s guidance from the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) http://www.crb.gov.uk/guidance/applicants_guidance.aspx
For help on filling in the form please see the guide from the CRB
Should you have any concerns about any child protection issues, please contact Graham Robson, Chairman of the Minis section, at minis@rosslynpark.co.uk. or for Youth (U13+), Steve Cooper at youth@rosslynpark.co.uk. Alternatively please contact Tom Blake, Club Welfare Officer, welfare@rosslynpark.co.uk.
Important Notice to Coaches: to ensure insurance and other protection, all RPFC coaches must be:-
1. Paid-up members of Rosslyn Park
2. CRB registered
3. ‘Graduates’ of our own RPFC First Aid course, or with an equivalent medical qualification
